This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that in April last year, monthly inflation was 1.48%, annual inflation (for the last 12 months) - 2.83%, and in January-March 2021 - 3.31% . The NBS notes that in April 2022, compared to April 2021 (over the past 12 months), average consumer prices increased by 27.07%, including food products rose by 30.17%, non-food products - by 19.13%, and tariffs for services rendered to the population increased by 34.4%. According to the NBS, at the same time, consumer prices in April 2022, compared to March 2022, increased by an average of 5.56%, against the backdrop of rising prices for food products - by 5.72%, for non-food goods - by 1.61%, as well as an increase in tariffs for services provided to the population, by 11.13%. According to official statistics, in particular, in April 2022, compared to the previous month, the following food products became more expensive: tomatoes - by 37.8%, cucumbers - by 20.6%, potatoes - by 17.9%, onions - by 16.6%, margarine and other vegetable fats - by 12.7%, cereals - by 9.3%, ice cream - by 8.2%, rice - by 8%, natural bee honey - by 6.5%, wheat and corn flour - by 6.1% and 5.7%, respectively, meat, semi-finished products and canned meat - by 5.6%, vegetable oil - by 4.1%, wheat flour bread, fish and canned fish - 3.5% each, pasta - by 3.4%, sugar - by 3.3%, milk and dairy products - by 2.5%. Among non-food products in April 2022, the prices of books rose by 8.4%, liquefied gas - by 6.8%, firewood - by 4.1%, printed publications - by 3.7%, fuel - by 3.4% (including diesel fuel - by 6.4%, gasoline - by 1.8%), cigarettes - by 2.7%, materials for the maintenance and repair of the house - by 2.3%. Prices/tariffs for services rendered to the population in April, compared to March, rose by an average of 11.13%, including due to the growth of regulated prices for the supply of natural gas and regulated tariffs for thermal energy, for which, starting since April, there are no longer any compensations for the price difference provided by the government to household consumers during the cold season (November 2021 - March 2022). A more pronounced monthly increase in prices (tariffs) for services provided to the population was registered for: electricity supply services - by 34.9%, repair of small tools and accessories - by 11.8%, household services - by 7.4%, services intercity and international motor transport - by 6.5%, urban transport services - by 5.3%.
