Moldova’s business environment will be improved and the budget of state programs for financial assistance for small and medium enterprises will be tripled.
This was declared by Minister of Economy, Sergiu Gaibu, who discussed about the policy of small and medium business support during an event organized by the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises, where the requests of business environment were presented to the authorities. Sergei Gaibu once again outlined the priorities of the Ministry of Economy and answered questions of the entrepreneurs present at the event. "We are aware that the crisis situations we are currently facing undoubtedly affect the business environment. On the other hand, entrepreneurs also face other bureaucratic or regulatory barriers that have not improved in three decades. For this reason, we want to improve the business environment by following three important dimensions: regulation of the regulatory framework to simplify technical requirements, and here I call on experts and entrepreneurs to do a brief sector analysis of the areas in which they operate; simplification of the financial reporting area, and here we are already in talks with the Finance Ministry; and the third dimension is financial, and here through the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Organization we offer grants to entrepreneurs.
