
The EU will provide Moldova with 15 million euros in immediate aid to manage the humanitarian situation with refugees from Ukraine.
In addition, the EU will allocate Moldova another 5 million euros for humanitarian aid to refugees from the neighboring country. He urged the Moldovan authorities to continue to work heroically and to accept refugees from Ukraine, to help people, and assured that the EU will continue to provide Moldova with direct assistance to implement reforms, programmes for economic and social recovery, including through the 600-million-euro recovery and sustainability plan developed by the EU for Moldova.
