The Ministry of Finance informed that, in particular, for 7 months in 2021, net external financing had a positive value and amounted to $99.06 million, since the volume of new loans received in January-July 2021 amounted to $177.73 million and turned out to be higher than payments on the principal amount of external debt for the specified period, which amounted to $78.67 million. At the same time, for 7 months in 2021, a negative value of fluctuations in the exchange rate of the US dollar against other currencies was registered, which amounted to $44.48 million, and as a result, in January-July 2021, the external public debt in US dollar terms increased by $54.58 million (+2.43%) - up to $2 billion 296 increased million as of July 31, 2021.
