The Free Economic Zone Expo-Business-Chișinău began operations on July 1, 1996, and this year marks its 25th anniversary. Currently, 55 residents from 11 countries operate in this FEZ, including such large enterprises with foreign capital as Fujikura Automotive MLD, Equip-Test, Sobro-Group, etc. The total investment in Expo-Business-Chișinău exceeded $ 74 million, and residents have created more than 1.6 thousand jobs. Expo-Business-Chișinău is one of the 3 largest free economic zones in Moldova. In total, 7 free economic zones have been created in the country and their 38 subzones in different regions of the country.
