
Advance subsidies in the amount of 26 million lei will be provided to 45 start-up projects in the field of agriculture.
According to the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), the total project budget is more than 40 million lei, of which 26 million lei are subsidies (allocated from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment), and the rest is the contribution of entrepreneurs. The projects will create more than 80 jobs. It is noted that 24 start-up projects will be launched and managed by women farmers, and 21 projects by young farmers (18-35 years old). According to preliminary data, 22 projects will focus on the creation / modernization of perennial plantations on an area of more than 128 hectares, as well as on the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment necessary for their processing. As a result of subsidizing these projects, 32.7 hectares of orchards (plum, cherry, peach, apple), 79.2 hectares of walnut orchards (hazelnuts and walnuts), 6.8 hectares of vineyards, 5.9 hectares of grass crops (lavender ) and 3.8 hectares of fruit bushes (blackberries, raspberries and currants). Another 10 projects are planning their work in the field of animal husbandry. Three other projects will develop a confectionery factory, a winery and a refrigerator.
