The Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova has proposed its own program of reforms and legislative initiatives to facilitate the development of the business environment and reduce bureaucratic pressure on it.

This was stated by the executive director of the alliance Liliana Busuioc, noting that the documents were developed and submitted after consultations with 800 entrepreneurs from all regions of the country held last year within the framework of the alliance, taking into account the consequences of the pandemic crisis, as well as factors slowing down the normal development of business (excessive bureaucracy, corruption, etc.). Developed and submitted for public discussion, their own reform programs and legislative initiatives are aimed at facilitating and developing the business environment and reducing bureaucratic pressure on it. In particular, entrepreneurs from the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova have developed a wide package of policy proposals and draft laws aimed at mitigating the causes and effects of these causes, which exert the greatest pressure on the SME environment. The complex of their initiatives includes: anti-corruption and anti-bureaucratic measures and actions in the business environment; systemic reforms for a stronger and more attractive economy and business environment; support measures and incentives in the context of the impact of the pandemic. “We came up with a comprehensive set of proposals for the development of entrepreneurship, including improving communication with the public sector to reduce bureaucracy and corruption, reform tax legislation, strengthen the debtor's position in microcredit, as well as their guarantees, support measures in the placement problem generated by the pressure of pandemic effects, and others. If the proposed actions find support, they will become the basis for economic recovery in the context of the crisis and recovery of economic health,” said Liliana Busuioc. According to her, proposals for targeted policies and legislative initiatives can be discussed and implemented since the launch of this agenda, given that entrepreneurs of the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova have been working on it for over a year and have already developed bills. They are ready to be discussed with responsible persons in order to create a developed and attractive business environment in Moldova. The Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova is a non-governmental business association, which includes entrepreneurs from different industries, and whose activities are aimed at promoting the interests of the business environment and initiatives to promote and develop it. The alliance's efforts are aimed at creating a clear and transparent business and legal environment in order to promote economic growth and investment in Moldova. The agenda will be sent to the relevant government agencies and development partners for analysis and support, and the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova remains open for dialogue. // 21.06.2021 — InfoMarket
