The Ministry of Finance informed that, at the same time, the expenditures of the state budget of Moldova for the first 4 months of this year amounted to 17 billion 075.8 million lei, having increased versus the same period of the previous year by 2 billion 337.3 million lei (+ 15.9%). As a result, the deficit of the state budget of Moldova in January-April 2021 amounted to 3 billion 033.4 million lei against 3 billion 304.6 million lei a year earlier (-8.2%). According to the Ministry of Finance, in general, in the structure of income, receipts from taxes and duties in the first 4 months of this year amounted to 13 billion 247.3 million lei (a year earlier - 10 billion 860.6 million), receipts from grants - 193.4 million lei ( a year earlier - 59.4 million lei). According to the Ministry of Finance, the Customs Service (CS) traditionally brought the largest amounts of revenue to the treasury. In particular, the income provided by the CS in January-April 2021 amounted to 8 billion 017.1 million lei, up 1 billion 362.1 million lei (+ 20.5%) compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, the revenues administered by the State Tax Service in the first 4 months of this year amounted to 6 billion 433.9 million lei, which is 1 billion 195.6 million lei (22.8%) more than in the same period last year. Income from projects financed from external sources in January-April 2021 amounted to 136.2 million lei against 62 million lei in the same period a year earlier, thus increasing 2.2 times. Other incomes amounted to 388.4 million lei, which is higher than the indicators of the same period of the previous year by 57.8 million lei (+ 17.5%). Refund by the Ministry of Finance of VAT and excise taxes in the first 4 months of 2021 amounted to 933.2 million lei, which is 81.2 million lei (9.5%) more than in the same period a year earlier. // 01.06.2021 – InfoMarket
