
Moldovan authorities allow Chisinau catering facilities to operate until 22:00.
According to the decision of the Municipal Public Health Emergency Commission, catering establishments are allowed to entertain visitors from 7:00 to 22:00, the rest of the time they can sell takeaway food and deliver food to customers’ homes. Herewith, it is prohibited to hold special events, weddings, christenings, birthdays and other similar events in catering facilities. At the same time, shopping malls and non-food stores may be open until 18:00, and fairs - from 6:00 to 18:00. In addition, from May 1 to November 30, the work of weekend food fairs is allowed in various sectors of Chisinau. Trade objects can be placed at a distance of 3 meters from each other. As before, the activities of nightclubs, karaoke, discos are prohibited. During the Easter holidays (until May 10), it is forbidden to visit cemeteries (except for ongoing funeral processions). It is recommended that religious services be held outdoors. If necessary, citizens can use online broadcasts or additional sound systems. Clerics and parishioners should wear protective masks and maintain the social distance. Theater and concert institutions, cinemas and houses of culture in Chisinau are allowed to hold events entertaining up to 50% of the audience in the hall. Also, the work of libraries is resumed in Chisinau; libraries will be able to hold events with the participation of up to 20 visitors. In general, the COVID-19 "red" code is still in effect in Chisinau.
