A new round of the Bridge Export program has launched in Moldova: business associations can receive grants to facilitate the entry and strengthening of Moldovan companies into foreign markets
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, Bridge Export is a financial instrument designed to implement sectoral strategies and activities to promote exports from Moldova. The new round of the program aims to support companies entering international markets by co-financing participation in exhibitions and fairs, organizing business missions, conducting marketing research, and implementing campaigns to promote domestic producers abroad. Specifically, sectoral associations, which act as umbrella organizations for companies wishing to enter new markets, can apply for funding. Interested associations can submit applications in accordance with the application guidelines and the schedule established by the Investment Agency. The program's three-year budget has been approved at 60 million lei. "The Bridge Export program is designed to help achieve our most important goal: supporting entrepreneurs. "This is a state program to support business associations with a budget of €60 million over three years to promote our companies in international markets," stated Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugen Osmochescu. At the same time, Natalia Bejan, Director of the Investment Agency, emphasized that Moldova's success in foreign markets directly depends on its ability to consolidate the private sector. "Business associations are one of the central pillars of this strategic concept. Associations will not only be beneficiaries of the program but also key partners with whom we will jointly develop and implement specific export promotion strategies," she stated. The agency's team is ready to assist and provide the necessary information to interested associations. Full documentation and selection criteria are available on the agency's official website: https://invest.gov.md/export/bridge-export-ro. Applications are accepted until March 15, and approved activities must be implemented between April 2026 and April 2027. It is worth noting that over the past three years, under the grant program, the Investment Agency has provided more than 8 million lei for 46 activities, supporting 20 initiatives of business associations aimed at promoting exports and business internationalization. // 23.02.2026 — InfoMarket.
