According to the Customs Service, over the past week, from June 22 to 28, approximately 3.1% (over 24.3 million lei) of the total amount came from individuals who imported goods into Moldova in excess of the tax-free limits. Customs officials processed 11,900 declarations, and vehicles crossed the state border 84,900 times. The heaviest traffic was at the Leușeni and Sculeni customs posts—17,400 and, respectively, about 14,200 vehicle crossings. Since the beginning of the year, customs revenue has totaled approximately 20.1 billion lei, which is 2.5% higher than the target set for this period....
