Moldova will initiate the implementation of the tool “Taxes for Sustainable Development Goals” with the support of the UNDP and the Slovak government

The Ministry of Finance announced this, noting that the UNDP team of experts in charge of this process made its first mission to Moldova on November 11-12. The experts assessed the fiscal policy framework in Moldova, identifying the problems of financing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the possibilities to support their achievement through fiscal policy measures. At the same time, the mission included a training on “Taxes for Sustainable Development Goals”. 25 civil servants from the Ministry of Finance, State Tax Service, Customs Service and other institutions strengthened their capacities in the field of fiscal policy for achieving the SDGs and especially for the health sector in Moldova. //13.11.2024 - InfoMarket.
