STS contributions to the national public budget of Moldova for 8 months of 2023 amounted to 41.1 billion lei, exceeding by 16.4% (+5.8 billion lei) the same period in 2022.
According to the State Tax Service, at the same time, tax revenues to the state budget for 8 months of 2023 amounted to 17.6 billion lei, being higher than the same period of the previous year by 2.2 billion lei (+14.5%). Herewith, in January-August 2023, the budgets of administrative-territorial units received 4.6 billion lei of taxes, which is 0.7 billion lei (19.4%) more than in the same period of 2022. In the state social insurance budget for 8 months of 2023, were collected 14.2 billion lei, which is 2.1 billion lei (17.1%) more than in the same period a year earlier. The accumulated STS fees to the Mandatory Health Insurance Funds in January-August 2023 amounted to 4.8 billion lei, an increase of 0.7 billion lei (+18.3%) compared to the same period of the previous year.
