
Individuals engaged in independent activity should make state social insurance contributions for July until August 25.
The National Social Insurance Company (CNAS) reminds that this year the procedure for filling in and deadlines for submitting CAS18-AN reports by individuals engaged in independent activity (IA) have changed. Thus, reporting for the first half of the year 2023 they had to submit by July 25, and thereafter they pay and submit reports monthly, by the 25th day of the month following the reporting month: for July - by August 25, for August - by September 25, etc. For 2023, the compulsory state social insurance contribution in a fixed amount is set at 14700 lei, respectively, the monthly contribution is 1225 lei. According to CNAS, individuals with IA registered before July 1, 2023 are obliged to pay the full amount of the contribution for July. At the same time, individuals with personal income registered or terminated in July 2023 must pay the contribution based on the number of days worked and the daily calculated amount of the contribution (39.5 lei per day). This category of taxpayers will pay contributions to the state social insurance budget to IBAN MD26TRGAAB1213131001000000.
