Cadastral data on land assets will be updated in Cahul, Cantemir and Leova regions.
According to the press service of the Public Services Agency, cadastral work will be carried out as part of the Land Registration and Valuation Project, funded by the International Development Association. In particular, cadastral data on land assets in 42 territorial-administrative units of the mentioned districts will be updated, and state-owned objects will be delimited. These works will be carried out by Comerzan-Latifundiar, Dincredmar-Cernea and ProGadGrup, with which the relevant contracts have been concluded. Companies will have to correct the mistakes made when registering the ownership of land plots, including supplementing them with graphic data where they are missing, conducting a primary accounting of privately owned land not yet included in the cadastre, and ensuring the delimitation of public property. As a result, land owners in these settlements who have not registered their property rights in the Real Estate Registry will receive free titles of ownership, and local governments will be able to manage their lands more efficiently. It should be noted that within the framework of Land Registration and Valuation Project, similar cadastral work was carried out in 23 districts, including the municipalities of Balti and Chisinau. Recall that the project of registration and valuation of land, funded by the International Development Association, is aimed at supporting the State Program for the Creation of the Real Estate Cadastre, which was launched in 1998. Mass cadastral works, as well as registration of rights in the real estate register are carried out at the expense of the project, while citizens and local governments do not bear any costs. The Government of Moldova has committed itself to complete by 2023 cadastral measurements and mass primary registration of land and other real estate in 490 rural settlements where such work has not been carried out before. // 11.10.2022 — InfoMarket
