Since the beginning of 2022, the Customs Service transferred 297 million lei to the budget, which is 51% more than in the same period last year.
According to the press service of the department, over the past week, customs officers processed 5871 declarations. Vehicles crossed the state border about 45.4 thousand times, and the largest traffic fell on the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (12.6 thousand and, accordingly, 7 thousand crossings). In the first week of the new year, 147 violations of customs legislation were registered, for which fines of 88 thousand lei were charged.
