The STS has identified industries with a high risk of tax inconsistency that will be monitored in 2022.

The priority sectors that will be monitored by the State Tax Service in 2022 in order to implement the Voluntary Tax Compliance Program include: wholesale and retail trade in goods and materials, as well as vehicles; Agriculture; real estate transactions; services for the maintenance and repair of vehicles / car wash; services in the field of beauty, care and health; processing industry; food industry. According to the analysis of the STS, in these areas the greatest risks are the following risks: the use of undeclared labor and the underestimation of the number of employees in comparison with the volume of work performed; errors in tax reporting and failure to submit it on time; failure to fulfill obligations to pay VAT, including through the use of various schemes; non-reflection of real income in tax reporting; non-use of cash register equipment, etc. The STS will monitor, among other things, large taxpayers from the processing and food industries and the agricultural sector, who will be checked for timely payment of taxes and fees. A separate area of the program will be monitoring of several other areas of activity: foreign exchange offices, rental of real estate; income of individuals from gambling; services provided to non-resident companies; physical persons-day laborers. In addition, in 2022, it is planned to work with individuals who are potential subjects of the application of methods and sources of indirect income assessment. All legal entities and individuals will be informed about the monitoring under the Voluntary Tax Compliance Program, they will be asked to fulfill their tax obligations, and the necessary advice will be provided.// 27.12.2021 — InfoMarket
