For 11 months on 2021, the Customs Service transferred 25.5 billion lei to the budget, which is 27% more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, relative to the indicators planned for this period, Customs Services’ contributions were 11% higher. According to the press service of the department, in November, the budgetary allocations of the department amounted to 2.7 billion lei, which is 24% more compared to the same period last year and 30% more than in November 2019. During the month, customs officers processed 57.3 thousand declarations. Vehicles crossed the state border about 253.7 thousand times, and the largest traffic occurred at the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (59.4 thousand and, accordingly, 49.2 thousand crossings). In November, more than 900 violations of customs legislation were registered, for which fines of 1.7 million lei were charged.
