Last week, the Customs Service transferred 628 million lei to the budget, which is 81% higher than the figure planned for this period.
In total, since the beginning of December, customs deductions to the budget amounted to more than 1 billion lei, which is 31.2% more than in the same period last year. According to the press service of the department, from December 6 to 12, customs officers processed 12.8 thousand declarations. Vehicles crossed the state border almost 57.2 thousand times, and the largest traffic accounted for the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (13.6 thousand and, accordingly, 10.2 thousand crossings). Last week, 153 violations of customs legislation were registered, for which fines totaling 248 thousand lei were charged.
