In total, individual millionaires last year declared income of 9 billion 694.4 million lei (+ 7.3% compared to the previous year) and paid income tax in the amount of 611.1 million lei (+ 4.2%). The maximum income of 1 person in 2020 amounted to 339.7 million lei. For comparison, the maximum income per 1 taxpayer in 2019 was 324.1 million lei, in 2018 - 83.2 million lei. According to the State Tax Service, the youngest millionaire in Moldova is 18 years old (in 2019 - 18 years old, in 2018 - 21 years old), the oldest - 97 years old (in 2019 - 85 years old, in 2018 - 90 years old).
