This draft law will regulate their establishment, recognition, and operations. The draft specifies the types of activities for which producer organizations may be recognized, including processing, marketing, packaging, promotion, storage of agricultural products, organization of joint procurement, and quality control. It also establishes rules for the creation and use of operating funds to finance operational programs, as well as procedures for monitoring, suspending, or revoking recognition and recovering payments. At the same time, the draft law regulates the activities of interprofessional organizations as a tool for cooperation between producers, processors, and traders, and defines the responsibilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture in implementing the law's provisions. As noted by the Ministry of Agriculture, the adoption of this regulatory framework will create the necessary conditions for agricultural producers in Moldova to apply the cooperation mechanisms provided for by European Union legislation, and adapt in a timely manner to the requirements of the Common Agricultural Policy. // 05.08.2026 — InfoMarket
