According to the government's press office, the main theme of the event will be the transition from the experimental use of artificial intelligence to its integration into economic infrastructure, government services, and applied projects. Prime Minister Vasile Tofan will participate in the forum's opening ceremony, and approximately 100 experts are scheduled to speak. Additionally, an official signing ceremony for the founding documents of the Moldova AI Hub will take place on the evening of October 15. The event will bring together representatives from government agencies, the business sector, universities, and international partners in AI development. They will discuss the development of local technological expertise, data management, and the risks associated with the use of AI. On the first day of the forum, the experiences of Northern European and Baltic countries in applying artificial intelligence in public administration will be presented, along with scenarios for allocating the first 10 million euros under the proposed national AI program and the hub's founding documents. The second day will include three practical workshops for the public, business, and financial sectors, covering potential applications of the technology and the stages of project implementation. As a reminder, the Moldova AI Hub is being established based on a memorandum signed in September 2025 by a public-private and academic consortium, which includes the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the e-Government Agency, the Technical University of Moldova, the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova), and the Association of IT Companies of Moldova (ATIC).
