According to Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, Moldova is taking another step forward in its EU accession negotiations and has received an official invitation to present its negotiating positions on two clusters (clusters): "Internal Market" (Cluster 2) and "Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth" (Cluster 3). "This stage paves the way for their formal opening at the next intergovernmental conference," said Cristina Gherasimov. According to her, the authorities are ready to move forward in the negotiation process. "We are ready to move forward. We thank the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU for its support and for keeping Moldova's accession on the European agenda," noted the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration. To date, Moldova has opened two negotiation clusters with the European Union: Cluster 1—"Core Values," on June 15, and Cluster 6—"External Relations," on July 14.
