Distribution and supply still need to be coordinated. The ANRE Director noted that natural gas consumption will continue to be measured by the same meters already installed at consumers' premises. No new meters need to be installed. The meters will continue to measure volume in cubic meters, and the conversion to kWh will be performed by multiplying by the PCS value, which is measured daily by the transmission system operator. The daily measured PCS values range from ≈ 10.25 kWh/m³ to ≈ 10.99 kWh/m³. Suppliers' invoices already include, for informational purposes, the PCS value in kWh/m³ and the amount of energy consumed in kWh. During the billing period, invoices will continue to list both units of measurement: energy in kWh as the primary unit and volume in cubic meters for informational purposes.
