The Ministry of Finance has updated the lists of countries and territories with which Moldova engages in the automatic exchange of financial account information. According to a ministry order published in the Monitorul Oficial, the list of participating countries includes 88 jurisdictions from which the State Tax Service of Moldova will receive financial data as provided for by international agreements. The list of reporting jurisdictions includes 79 jurisdictions, to whose competent authorities the Moldovan tax agency will transmit information about the accounts of their residents. These include EU countries, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland, and other countries and territories.
