The Moldovan government has approved the start of negotiations on a new Moldovan-Turkish protocol, which will define the general conditions for implementing development projects and programs in Moldova with financial and technical support from Turkey. The protocol will establish the legal and institutional framework for cooperation through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA). The support will cover economic development, agriculture and the food industry, infrastructure, energy, environmental protection, education, healthcare, and culture. Specific areas of focus will include strengthening the capacity of government agencies and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. The new protocol will replace a similar Moldovan-Turkish agreement signed in 2015 and valid until November 2026. The document is planned to be concluded for a term of 5 years with the possibility of automatic renewal. // 14.08.2026 — InfoMarket.
