The Ministry of Energy released these figures last week while presenting information on the operation of Moldova's power system. As noted, between October 12 and 18, electricity demand was fully met on both banks of the Nistru without the need to activate emergency assistance. On the right bank, electricity was supplied by Termoelectrica, CET-Nord, the Costești Hydroelectric Power Plant, and renewable energy sources. Domestic electricity generation was supplemented by imports from Romania under bilateral contracts and transactions on energy exchanges, as well as from Ukraine under bilateral contracts. The electricity transmission grid operated without any disruptions that could have affected the security of the power system. In the Transnistrian region, there were also no incidents that could have disrupted the operation of the power system. // 19.10.2026 — InfoMarket
