Vadim Codreanu has won the competition for the vacant position of Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Organization of Moldova (ODA).

This was announced by the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, who said that Vadim Codreanu has extensive experience in the private sector, as well as in public institutions. He is a business development specialist. He worked with Purcari company, was an expert for USAID and the European Commission for Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness Development, worked with Moldova Fruct Association, has an economic education and financial experience. He is currently pursuing an MBA degree in Vienna. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, for the last 2 years Vadim Codreanu has been the Project Director of the Agency for the Development and Modernization of Agriculture. He also provided consulting services as an innovation expert for the USAID and Chemonics-funded Future Technologies Activity, as well as for Berlin Economics. Throughout his career, he has been a senior expert in projects funded by the EU and other international organizations, including the EU Delegation in Moldova. Among his achievements is the conceptualization of a science and innovation park in Moldovan agriculture. At the same time, Vadim Codreanu was a trainer for the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), supporting 32 Moldovan companies in accessing EU markets. "The government helps businesses and the Moldovan Entrepreneurship Development Organization needs a pro-business vision and approach to continue and promote the earlier reform. Together we will implement existing programs and develop new products to support entrepreneurs. Small and medium-sized enterprises, our entrepreneurs, whom we are proud of, should know that they have a reliable business partner and support within ODA," Dumitru Alaiba wrote on his social network page, wishing good luck to Vadim Codreanu as ODA Director. As InfoMarket reported earlier, the former ODA director Dumitru Pintea left the post on January 1, 2024, having written a resignation letter on his own initiative. Gheorghe Iudin was appointed ODA Interim Director until the completion of the competitive procedure for the position. On February 27, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization announced a competition to fill the vacant position of ODA Director. The deadline for submitting applications for it expired on March 13. Seven people out of 13 who applied for the vacant position of ODA Director were admitted to the competition for the vacant position. The finalists of the competition for the vacant position of ODA Director were 3 persons who were admitted to the final interview: Vadim Codreanu, Andrei Crigan and Olga Popa.
