The NCFM will hold a number of events aimed at promoting and encouraging financial education, in the context of the International Financial Education Week, celebrated around the world, from March 18 to 24.

As reported by the National Commission on the Financial Market, the events that will be held within the framework of the International Financial Education Week (Global Money Week) are mainly aimed at raising awareness of the importance of financial education and its role in the economic development of the country, increasing the level of financial inclusion, as well as to familiarize youth and adults with the basic concepts relating to the capital market and the financial instruments existing in this market. Among the most important events that will take place as part of Global Money Week are: an information session with entrepreneurs on the topic “Opportunities for attracting investments for business development through financial instruments available on the capital market”, organized by the NCFM in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova on March 18; information session for undergraduate and graduate students on the functioning of the capital market and the protection of consumers of financial services, organized jointly with the Economic Academy of Moldova on March 19; a financial education lesson for high school students on the functioning of the capital market and the protection of consumers of financial services, organized in cooperation with the Mihai Eminescu Lyceum in Straseni on March 19; a financial education lesson for high school students on the functioning of the capital market and the protection of consumers of financial services, organized in collaboration with the Lyceum named aftere Alexandru cel Bun in Singera on March 21st. The NCFM recognizes the important role of financial education and pays great attention to the level of financial responsibility of the population as an active measure to protect the beneficiaries of financial services and products and increase their level of confidence.
