
Tariffs for natural gas for household consumers in Moldova in January-February 2024 increased by an average of 0.84%, and over the last 12 months - decreased by 23.88%.
This follows from new inflation data presented by the National Bureau of Statistics. As noted, at the same time, electricity tariffs in February 2024, compared to December 2023, did not change, but they decreased by 25.82% compared to February 2023. Herewith, tariffs for centralized heating in February 2024, compared to December 2023, increased by 5.88%, and compared to February last year, decreased by 10.56%. In general, tariffs for housing and communal services in February 2024, compared to December 2023, increased by 1.46%, and compared to February 2023, decreased by 9.34%. Tariffs for water and sewerage services over the indicated periods increased by 1.43% and 14.19%, respectively. Tariffs for passenger transportation in February 2024, compared to December 2023, increased by 2.79%, and compared to February 2023 - by 25.06%.
