The Ministry of Finance has established good cooperative relations with the business community in 2023 - Petru Rotaru.
The Finance Minister said this at an event organized by the European Business Association (EBA), noting that the Ministry is receptive to the proposals and initiatives of the business environment, which were taken into account in the development and implementation of important documents, such as tax policy, the Tax Code and the Customs Code. In this context, EBA Executive Director Marianna Rufa said she appreciated the efforts of the ministerial team for the effective management of public finances, noting the openness of the Ministry in maintaining a constructive dialog with entrepreneurs, which is essential to promote a favorable economic climate and stimulate growth and development of the business environment. It should be noted that the event organized by the EBA was attended by economic agents, opinion leaders and representatives of state authorities. The discussions focused on a number of topical issues: definition of income tax, preparation of financial statements, VAT and excise duties (calculation procedure, deductions, adjustments and refunds), new transfer pricing provisions, aspects of environmental pollution tax, taxation of new types of benefits for employees, as well as categories of expenses incurred by the employer that are deductible for tax purposes. // 14.02.2024 InfoMarket.
