New, reduced electricity tariffs for Premier Energy and FEE Nord customers took effect.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency's Management Board decisions on the prices for electricity supplied by Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord (FEE Nord) were published in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova) on April 13 and took effect. Thus, for Premier Energy consumers with households connected to low-voltage distribution power networks (0.4 kW), the tariff decreased by 12.6% - from 3.42 to 2.99 lei/kWh, and for FEE Nord consumers - from 3.84 to 3.58 lei/kWh (-6.8%). At the same time, for Premier Energy end consumers whose electrical installations are connected to high voltage distribution networks (35; 110 kW), the tariff was reduced by 14.5% - from 2.89 to 2.47 lei/kWh, and for consumers whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW) - by 15.5% - from 2.70 to 2.28 lei/kWh. For FEE Nord consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to medium-voltage distribution power grids (6; 10 kW), the tariff was reduced by 9.5% - from 2.95 to 2.68 lei/kWh. In addition, the tariff for electricity supply at the entry/exit points to/from Premier Energy transmission grids was reduced by 42 bani/kWh: to 2.05 lei/kWh at entry points to/from transmission grids and to 2.25 lei/kWh at exit points from transmission grids (+23.8%), while for FEE Nord these tariffs were reduced by 26 bani/kWh - to 2.24 lei/kWh and, respectively, to 2.44 lei/kWh. When approving the new tariffs, the National Energy Regulatory Agency took into account the new purchase price for Energocom from Moldavskaya GRES at $66/MWh instead of $73. This is already the second decrease of electricity tariffs this year, the first one being made as of January 1. At that time, for example, the tariff for Premier Energy consumers, whose power installations were connected to the low-voltage (0.4 kWh) distribution network, was reduced by 26% - from 4.62 to 3.42 lei/kWh. For similar consumers of FEE Nord the tariff was reduced by 17.4% - from 4.65 to 3.84 lei/kWh. In 2022, electricity tariffs were raised five times: the first increase was on April 1, 2022, while before that the tariff for Premier Energy household consumers was 1.51 lei/kWh, and for FEE Nord - 2.04 lei/kWh. //13.04.2023 - InfoMarket.
