At the same time, in November, compared to the previous month, it increased by 58.24 million lei (+0.18%), as at the end of October 2022 amounted to 33 billion 176.96 million lei. It should be noted that the record figure of internal public debt of Moldova was registered at the end of July 2021, when it amounted to 34 billion 333.6 million lei. According to the Ministry of Finance, the decrease in the internal public debt in 11 months of this year was mainly due to the redemption of Government Securities worth 290 million lei issued to meet the payment obligations under the state guarantees. In particular, the debt on bonds issued to execute payment obligations of the Ministry of Finance arising from the state guarantees of November 17, 2014 and April 1, 2015, at the end of November 2022 amounted to 12 billion 061.2 million lei, decreasing by 290 million lei (-2.3%), compared to the situation at the end of 2021. It accounted for 36.3% of the total internal state debt of Moldova at the end of November 2022. At the same time, at the end of November 2022 the debt on state securities issued in the primary market was about 18 billion 932.64 million lei, up by 154.49 million lei (0.8%) compared to the end of 2021 (18 billion 778.15 million lei), and accounted for 57% of the total volume of internal state debt. At the same time, the debt on converted Government Securities at the end of November 2022 amounted to 2 billion 241.37 million lei, increasing, compared to the situation at the end of 2021, by 89.34 million lei (+4.2%), and accounted for 6.7% of the total internal public debt at the end of November 2022. The average weighted interest rate on government securities sold at auctions amounted to 17.45% (by types of government securities: 91 days - 15.48%, 182 days - 17.2%, 364 days - 18.26%, 2 years - 19%, 3 years - 14.11%, 5 years - 9.67%, 7 years - 10%), compared to the same period of the previous year.
