More than 500 guests and speakers will take part in the First Chisinau Economic Forum to take place on September 30 - October 1 at the Palace of the Republic.

The event will gather representatives of business, academic and associative environment, economic experts, foreign investors and patrons, as well as official delegations of the twin cities or partner cities of Chisinau. The forum aims at highlighting joint efforts aimed at identifying opportunities for further development of the capital and becoming a platform for discussing the investment and development potential of the municipality. The Chisinau Development Strategy till 2030 and the Investment Map of the municipality with a portfolio of 60 attractive investment projects will be presented at the forum. At the forum it will be signed the Memorandum of Chisinau accession to the World Tourism Cities Federation. Chisinau Green City strategy plans will also be presented, and experts from Grenoble (France) and Warsaw (Poland) will share their experience in this field. A special panel will be focused on digital transformation of the city, including the e-ticketing initiative, the concept of creative industries in Chisinau, public-private partnerships based on the example of Tekwill, and "Future Technologies Activity" project funded by USAID and Sweden. The second day of the forum will be dedicated to urban mobility and public transport infrastructure development in Chisinau, tourism development in the capital, Chisinau real estate market and investments in this sector.
