The First Economic Forum of Moldova’s capital city will take place in Chisinau from September 30 to October 1.

It is the largest investment attraction event in the capital of Moldova and is organized by the Mayor's Office of Chisinau. Speakers and guests from different countries will gather at the Palace of the Republic to discuss the investment potential of the city and its development potential. The event will gather representatives of business, academic and associative environment; economic experts, foreign investors and donors, as well as official delegations of twin or partner cities. The emphasis will be put on joint efforts to find solutions and opportunities contributing to the continuous development of the Moldovan capital. International-level speakers, from Moldova and abroad, will touch upon the following topics: digital transformation of the city, mobility, city tourism, real estate market and other topical subjects, relevant to the capital. The event will present the Chisinau City Development Strategy until 2030, as well as sectoral strategies, such as: Mobility Strategy, Tourism Development Strategy, as well as initiatives: Chisinau - Green City, Chisinau - Smart City. During the forum the Chisinau City Hall for the first time will present the investment map of Chisinau municipality, which includes more than 60 attractive objects of investment from the category of real estate, land, social-educational and entertainment spheres etc. Foreign guests will tell about the experience of other countries in urban development in all dimensions and will share best practices implemented in Grenoble, Lublin, Warsaw, Madrid, Valencia and other cities. The Chisinau Economic Forum will reaffirm that the city is open to innovative and environmentally friendly urban development, which creates new opportunities for investment in services necessary to achieve this goal.
