Prices for fuel in Moldova in the first quarter of 2022 increased by an average of 26.17%, and over the past 12 months (from March 2021 to March 2022) - by 44.85%.
This follows from the data on inflation in January-March of this year, which were presented by the National Bureau of Statistics. As noted, at the same time, in March 2022, compared to December 2021, the following prices increased: fuel - by 34.7% (including diesel fuel - by 46.4%, gasoline - by 29.7%), coal - by 25.4%, liquefied gas - by 16.6%, briquettes and pellets from biomass - by 16%, firewood - by 12.3%, materials for the maintenance and repair of housing - by 10.8%, furniture and household appliances - by 7.6%, spare parts and accessories for personal vehicles - by 7.1%, high power electrical appliances - by 6.2%, carpets and other floor coverings - by 5.1%, clothing - by 2%.
