This is provided for by a draft regulation on the mechanism of subsidizing jobs, submitted by the Ministry of Finance for public consultations. According to the project, legal entities and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities, as well as non-profit organizations-residents of Moldova will be able to receive subsidies for job creation, including for people with disabilities. The amount of the subsidy will depend on the size of the declared and paid taxes on wages (from 50% to 200%, depending on the category of employees and length of service, as well as depending on the degree of disability of the employee), but in the range from 1000 to 4000 lei. In particular, for the employment of persons who have not had income in the form of a salary for the last 12 months in a row - the subsidy will be 50% of the declared and paid salary taxes, but not more than 1 thousand lei per month, it will be provided during the first year after employment. In the case of employment of persons with disabilities, the amount of the subsidy will be 50% of the paid taxes on wages, but not more than 1 thousand lei - if a person with moderate and severe disabilities is employed, and 100% of the paid taxes, but not more than 2 thousand lei, if severe disability. For the employment of persons with disabilities in specialized enterprises, the amount of the subsidy will be 200% of the declared salary taxes, but no more than 4 thousand lei per month. For employees with disabilities, the subsidy will be provided for the entire period of employment. The draft government decree describes the procedure for applying for participation in the mechanism for subsidizing jobs, provides a list of necessary documentation, reporting, etc. It is also provided that from May 1, 2021, VAT exemptions for enterprises organized by societies of the blind, societies of the deaf and / or societies of the disabled will be canceled. The implementation of the subsidy mechanism will help support the labor market in terms of reducing existing restrictions, and stimulate the employment of people with disabilities.
