This follows from the data on annual inflation for the past year, which was presented by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that in general, in 2020, food products rose in price by an average of 1.66%. At the same time, as follows from the NBS data, in December 2020, compared to December 2019, among foodstuffs, prices for the following increased the most: legumes - by 22.5%, sunflower oil - by 18.81%, chicken eggs - by 12.25%, cereals - by 10.2%, wheat flour - by 7.1%, pasta - by 6.8%, chocolates - by 6.7%, pome fruits - by 6.4%, rice - 5.8%, fruits - 4.77%, sugar - 4.54%, milk and dairy products - by 4.32%, bread - by 3.54%. Herewith, in December 2020, compared to December 2019, a number of food products fell in price, while a more significant decrease in prices was noted for: potatoes - by 39.7%, onions - by 33%, cabbage - by 29.2%, orchard stone fruits - by 23.7%, garden berries - by 17.9%, garlic - by 15.2%, carrots - by 13.7%.
