
Eight state property objects were sold for 67.82 million lei during an “under the hammer” auction, which is almost 30% more than their total initial cost.
As reported by the Public Property Agency, following the auction, which ended on December 16, a land plot for construction in Codru sector of Chisinau with an area of 5.1848 hectares was sold for 52 million lei (initial cost - 42 million lei). Also there were sold the following objects: a land plot for construction with an area of 0.1617 hectares on the street of Cuza Voda in Chisinau - for 5.75 million lei (+ 15% to the initial cost); a building complex on the street of Bucuresti 89a with an area of 141.8 sq. m, including a land plot (0.044 ha) - for 3.85 million lei (+ 75%); a construction complex with an area of 163 sq. m and a land plot for construction with an area of 0.7948 hectares, located outside the village, in the Bacioi commune - 0.6 million lei (+ 20%). In addition, during the auction, there were sold three objects located on the territory of Ukraine: the children's health camp "Avtodorozhnik" (Автодорожник) in the village of Sergeevka - for 1.92 million lei (+ 20% to the initial price); the tourist center “Moldova” in the village of Yasinya - for 1.44 million lei (+ 20%), the recreation center “Chaika” (Чайка) in the city of Koblevo - for 1.88 million lei (+ 17.5%). Another object - the Lux recreation center in Vadul lui Voda - was sold for 372 thousand lei (+ 20%). The Public Property Agency clarifies that buyers within 20 days after signing the protocols on the results of the auction must pay the entire cost of the purchased property, and a week after that, conclude a purchase and sale contract. Buyers must also pay state tax in the amount of 1% of the value of the acquired state property; this amount will be 678.2 thousand lei. As a reminder, this is the third round of privatization this year. It will be completed by auctions "under the hammer" for the sale of state shares in 14 joint-stock companies, the state's share in which ranges from 30.083% to 99.637%. They will be held next week on the Moldova Stock Exchange. The most expensive "lot" is the state's shareholding in Metalferos JSC (78.282%); its starting price will be about 900 million lei (7 million lei less than the previous price). Through the Moldova Stock Exchange, it is planned to privatize the state blocks of shares in the Rif-Acvaaparat Scientific Research Institute (92.908%) - 18.55 million lei (2.3 million lei less than the previous price), the state block of shares in “Hotel Chișinău” JSC (60.179%) - at the initial the price of 1.55 million lei, as well as 30.083% of shares of the insolvency enterprise Alimentarmaș (about 5.5 million lei, almost 0.6 million cheaper than previously offered for sale), as well as state shares in 10 enterprises for the repair and maintenance of roads.
