The NBM and commercial banks of Moldova invite schoolchildren and students to participate in the journey along the "Road of Money" on November 29, the 30th anniversary of the Moldovan leu (MDL).

According to the National Bank, this financial education event is loved by children and young people for its previous editions, and the financial theme becomes one of the preferred topics among other topics of high interest for many of them. The journey will begin at the National Bank. Visitors will learn how money circulates, in what form and how it gets into the economy or to consumers. The excursionists will also hear a brief history of the Moldovan leu (MDL) and will be able to admire the collection of commemorative and jubilee coins issued by the National Bank of Moldova, as well as coin art objects from other countries, exhibited in the NBM Museum. The participants of the event will also have the opportunity to watch an attractive and useful presentation prepared by the National Bank's experts on the elements of the Moldovan leu security. The journey along the "Road of Money" will continue in a commercial bank, where important concepts in the field of consumer knowledge will be revealed and new situations in the financial world will be simulated. Participation in the event is possible upon preliminary registration. Groups of up to 30 people aged 12 years and older will be formed. Students will be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for the safety of minors during the trip. Applications can be sent by November 26 to mailto:edufin@bnm.md.
