The National Banks of Moldova and Romania have launched the "School of Modern Finance" in Romania for Master students of economics from RM.
In particular, the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) is holding until July 14 a competition for the selection of participants in the "School of Modern Finance", designed in the first edition for persons studying for a Master's degree, specialized in finance, from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM). This far-reaching project, initiated in cooperation with the National Bank of Romania (NBR) and the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) of Bucharest, will offer young people a unique learning and networking experience during one week from July 22 to 30 this year. The program will start in Chisinau with a meeting with the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova Octavian Armasu and will take place in Bucharest together with a cultural program planned in the cities of Iasi, Brasov, Suceava and Sinaia. The participants of the "School of Modern Finance" will have a unique opportunity to listen in this format to the lectures of the experts of the National Bank of Romania in cooperation with the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest and to take part in meetings with the figures of the financial-banking field in Romania, especially with the Governor of the NBR Mugur Isarescu. Upon completion, the Master students will receive a certificate signed by the Governors of NBM and NBR, as well as by the Rectors of the ASE of Bucharest and ASEM. The participation of students from Moldova in the "School of Modern Finance" is partially supported by the USAID Moldova Institutional and Structural Reforms Activity (MISRA), which supports the National Bank of Moldova's efforts to accelerate financial sector reforms, education and financial inclusion. "School of Modern Finance" will be organized twice a year - in the second half of July and September in Romania on a competitive basis. The criteria for the selection of participants are described in the Procedure of the competition for participation in the "School of Modern Finance" program. By launching this project, the organizers aim to intensify efforts to support the process of professional training of Moldovan students, which will further contribute both to the strengthening of the association of economists and to the financial integration of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. // 12.07.2023 - InfoMarket.
