Herewith, in comparison with November of the previous year, it increased by 0.59 percentage points. It should be noted that the historical minimum of the weighted average interest rate on new loans in lei in Moldova is 6.78% per annum, and it was registered in August 2021. As InfoMarket agency was informed in the National Bank of Moldova, in November 2021, individuals were provided loans at average rate 8.53% (+1.07 p.p., compared to the previous month; +1.18 p.p. compared to November 2020), legal - 8.46% (+0.3 p.p. and +0.1 p.p., respectively), and for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity - 10.57% (+0.8 p.p. and +1.28 p.p., respectively). The volume of loans in lei provided to individuals in November 2021 increased, compared to the previous month, by 0.3%, amounting to 1 billion 262.1 million lei. In terms of the purpose of the loans provided, the largest share was made up of consumer loans (59.7%), which were issued at an average rate of 9.38% per annum (+1.54 p.p. compared to the previous month; +2.02 p.p., compared to November 2020). Average interest rate on loans for buying real estate in November of this year amounted to 7.01% and increased by 0.34 percentage points, compared with the previous month, and also increased by 0.15 percentage points, compared with November 2020. It should be noted that 95.1% of the total volume of mortgage loans and 99.8% of consumer loans were issued in lei. Loans in national currency with a maturity of 2 to 5 years were most in demand in the reporting month and were provided at an average interest rate of 8.86% (to legal entities - 8.31%, to individuals - 9.33%, and to individuals practicing entrepreneurial activity - 10.34%). Herewith, the highest average interest rate on loans in the national currency for legal entities was on loans with a maturity of up to 1 month, amounting to 9.52% per annum, for individuals - on loans for a period of 1-3 months, amounting to 13.32% per annum, and for individuals practicing entrepreneurial activity, on loans for a period of 3-6 months, amounting to 14.74% per annum. The lowest average interest rate on loans in lei for individuals was the rate on loans for a period of more than 5 years, which amounted to 7.15% per annum, for legal entities - the rate on loans also for a period of 3-6 months, which amounted to 7.95% , and for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities, the rate on loans for a period of 1-3 months, which amounted to 8.76%.// 30.12.2021 — InfoMarket
