
The share of loans issued by banks of Moldova to resident legal entities as of the end of June 2021 amounted to 60.6%, down 0.3 percentage points versus the previous month.
The National Bank of Moldova informed that, in particular, as of the end of June 2021, such loans were issued for a total of 30 billion 257.2 million lei (+ 1.9% compared to the previous month) out of the total amount of loans of 49 billion 932. 4 million lei (+ 2.5%). At the same time, loans to resident individuals amounted to 19 billion 163.9 million lei, (+ 3.9%), and their share in the total volume increased from 37.8% to 38.4%. Loans to non-resident legal entities as of the end of June 2021 amounted to 501.4 million lei (-14.5%, compared to the previous month), while loans to non-resident individuals amounted to 9.96 million lei (+ 21.4%). According to the NBM, the largest amounts of loans to resident legal entities as of the end of June 2021 were issued by: Moldova-Agroindbank - 11.42 billion lei, Moldindconbank - 4.49 billion lei, OTP Bank - 4.32 billion lei, ProCredit Bank – 3.41 billion lei, Victoriabank - 2.24 billion lei. The largest amounts of loans to non-resident legal entities were provided by: OTP Bank - 254.1 million lei, Moldova-Agroindbank - 140.2 million lei and Victoriabank - 99.3 million lei. The leading positions in issuing loans to resident individuals are occupied by Moldova-Agroindbank - 5.52 billion lei, Moldindconbank - 4.92 billion lei, OTP Bank - 3.79 billion lei, Victoriabank - 2.41 billion lei. //11.08.2021 – InfoMarket
