Nick Pietrowicz, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Moldova, presented this document to Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. The Moldovan Prime Minister noted that the strategic partnership with the U.S. is yielding concrete results for Moldova’s energy security, and that the feasibility study for the Liberty Line project—which calls for the construction of the Strășeni–Gutinaș power line—is an important step toward establishing a new energy connection with the European Union and strengthening the resilience of Moldova’s power system.
