The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization reported this, noting that during the discussions, the need for active cooperation between the government and the private sector was emphasized “to transpose plans on paper into real solutions for the Moldovan economy.” During the meeting, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor stressed the importance of involving entrepreneurs in the development of economic policy. Reforms aimed at accelerating economic growth, with a focus on supporting SMEs, were also presented, and entrepreneurs presented specific proposals for implementing reforms, reducing bureaucracy, and ensuring a predictable business environment. “Only through close cooperation between the government and the business community can we turn reforms into real solutions that have a positive impact on the economy,” said Doina Nistor. In turn, the Economic Council under Prime Minister emphasized that the Economic Reform Program planned for the next three years and its impact on small and medium-sized enterprises were the central topic of discussion at the meeting of the Advisory Council on SMEs organized by the Economic Council under Prime Minister. Doina Nistor stressed the importance of open dialogue with the private sector to ensure the coherence and effectiveness of reforms aimed at accelerating economic growth. The reforms envisaged in Moldova's Growth Plan for 2025-2027 were presented by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and the director of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. Discussions focused on how these measures will affect the business environment, especially the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the backbone of the national economy. Private sector representatives made proposals regarding the implementation schedule, the need for predictability, and the reduction of administrative burdens. The event concluded with an exchange of views among participants, during which the need for close cooperation between the government and entrepreneurs was emphasized so that economic reforms do not remain on paper but are translated into practical and useful solutions for the real economy. // 04.08.2025 — InfoMarket
