Moldova will participate in European projects to create jobs and support vulnerable groups with EU grant assistance
In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a mechanism that will facilitate access to European funding aimed at reducing unemployment, improving the quality of jobs, and promoting social innovation. This refers to the Regulation on Moldova's participation in the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) component of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The Regulation establishes the conditions, principles, and stages of participation in projects under the EaSI component; the types of activities and areas eligible for funding; the conditions for the participation of entities in projects; forms of financing, etc. According to the government, with the approval of the document, legal entities from Moldova will be able to participate in calls for proposals organized by the European Commission on the same terms as member states. “This is a project that helps us strengthen our care for vulnerable groups in society,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The EaSI component is a European Union program with a total budget of €762 million for 2021–2027. The program supports projects in the areas of combating unemployment, labor mobility, social inclusion, and improving working conditions. Participation in the program provides access to grants, support for the development of social services, and opportunities for transnational cooperation. // 16.07.2025 — InfoMarket
