A delegation from the Ministry of Finance discussed Moldova's macroeconomic development and reforms in the country with representatives of the World Bank and the IMF in Washington
According to the Ministry of Finance, the discussions took place as part of the Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, which were held in Washington last week. During the visit, the Moldovan Ministry of Finance delegation, led by Minister Victoria Belous, met with representatives of the World Bank, the IMF, the US Department of the Treasury, finance ministries of other countries, international financial institutions, and rating agencies. Discussions focused on Moldova's macroeconomic development, public finance reforms, and measures needed to support the European path, particularly in the context of meeting the criteria for EU accession. The meetings were also attended by a delegation from the National Bank of Moldova, led by its Governor, Anca Dragu.
