Moldova should be turned into its most technologically advanced version - Dorin Recean
Prime Minister said this while speaking at the 2nd conference “Artificial Intelligence & Big Data”, which gathered leaders in the fields of technology, business, finance and public administration. Dorin Recean emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer just a concept of the future, but a real reality in business management, medical services, communication, implementation of public policies and quality services to citizens. “Artificial intelligence can increase productivity, profitability and competitiveness in almost any sphere: from marketing and sales to logistics, strategic planning and in-depth data analytics. The matter concerns real tools that can be immediately applied in our businesses and institutions,” Prime Minister said. According to him, AI will not replace humans, but will empower them. “This is an important message both for the scientific circles and for the private sector: we should train not generations that try to compete with machines, but generations that know exactly how to manage them,” Prime Minister said. He emphasized that Moldova should be part of the transformations experienced by other states that are using AI to develop their economies. “We provide investment opportunities, acceleration programs, partnerships between universities and technology companies, as well as strategic support from the government, so that the best ideas do not leave Moldova, but develop here. We can achieve much more if we join forces. That is why I encourage you all to participate in this effort to make Moldova the most technologically advanced version of itself,” said Dorin Recean. The conference “Artificial Intelligence & Big Data” takes place on April 3-4 in Chisinau and Bulboaca. Participants discuss the main topics defining the new digital era: from regulation and ethics to the application of AI in education, energy or cybersecurity. The event was organized by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC), the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova), AC Tech and Tekwill in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. // 04.04.2025 - InfoMarket
