
Another 75 Moldovan companies received grants worth 26.3 million lei under state business support programs implemented through ODA
The Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA) issued grants on Thursday through several programs financed by the government and the European Union. Thanks to this funding, investments worth 51.3 million lei will be attracted to the Moldovan economy. Within the framework of the Digital Transformation Program for Small and Medium Enterprises, grants worth a total of 12.3 million lei were approved for 46 companies, which will attract investments worth 20.7 million lei to the economy. The money will be used to purchase and implement digital technologies. Within the framework of the Program for Reconstruction and Improving Energy Efficiency of Small and Medium Enterprises, 8 companies from various sectors of the economy will receive grants worth a total of 5.8 million lei. This funding will support investments worth 13.6 million lei, which will contribute to the modernization and improvement of the efficiency of production processes. The new beneficiaries of the Women's Entrepreneurship Support Program are 16 companies, which will receive grants worth 5.7 million lei. The implementation of these investment projects will bring investments of 12 million lei to the economy. The funded initiatives are aimed at developing businesses in sectors such as flour milling, bakery and confectionery production, healthcare and education. Another 5 companies will develop their businesses within the PARE 1+2 Remittance Attraction Program, they received non-repayable financial assistance of 2.4 million lei, which will allow attracting 5 million lei to the economy. According to ODA, out of 75 companies that received grants, 65 are financed by the government (23 million lei), and 10 companies will receive EU grants (3.3 million lei). It is worth noting that since the beginning of 2025, ODA has provided grants to 136 companies worth 69.3 million lei. This support will allow attracting investments of 147.6 million lei to the economy. Almost 84% of the companies (114) received funds from the state budget, while the rest benefited from EU financial support through the EU for Small and Medium Enterprises project (14 companies), as well as funding through the DOMDE 2 project (7 companies), financed by the EU and implemented with the support of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development and the Migration Partnership Facility, through ODA, Veneto Lavoro and BRD, and 1 company was financed from World Bank Group sources.//13.03.2025 — InfoMarket.
