
The Parliament of Moldova is convened for an extraordinary session on January 29-30
As reported by its press service, the Standing Bureau of the legislative body will consider on Wednesday the request of the Speaker Igor Grosu to convene an extraordinary session of the parliament on January 29-30. This initiative is explained by the need to urgently adopt regulations to create a unitary regulatory framework based on uniform principles applicable to the process of preventing and combating organized crime, as well as to strengthen the institutional architecture of the bodies responsible for combating corruption and organized crime. Legislative initiatives must be adopted and implemented urgently. The draft agenda of the extraordinary session of the parliament will be approved tomorrow at a meeting of the Standing Bureau.
